Anna began her journey as a pre-dentistry major and quickly found her passion in writing and a home in the School of Communication and Mass Media. “My favorite class I took in my major was Fundamentals of Electronic Media Production with Adam Bochart because I came into the major with little to no experience with photography and design, and that class taught me those things and my professor was there for every question.”
She enjoyed getting involved with Tower yearbook, interning with the Northwest athletics marketing office as well as the Office of University Marketing and Communication. Each internship helped her gain the profession-based experience she needed for her future career.
Her academic advisor, Jody Strauch, and her University Seminar instructor, Dana Ternus, helped her along with encouragement from others to get involved on campus. That involvement helped her hone her skills to ensure she was career-ready.
